IBOL Licencing Rule Changes
The proposed IBOL licencing rule changes have passed through the Idaho Sentate and House. The changes should go into effect in July.
Click below to download a copy of the rule changes. All the rule changes will go through as written in the document, except the rule requiring 50% mandatory education will be removed.
Notable changes include:
*The stair step system is removed from treatment exam progression (meaning you don’t have to hold a class three for four years before you can take a class 4 as long as you meet the education and experience requirements).
*Experience can be substituted at a 1:1 ratio for education rather than the old 2:1 ratio.
*Responsible charge is removed from the lab exam requirements.
*Lab experience can count for 50% of treatment experience and vice versa just like all the other experience for experience substitutions.
